he yer Well then its like this i used to go to school with becks from fast crew she was in my six form music class and shes one the best singers ive heard in a loooooonnnng time. she got grd 4-6 in classical training in high school so b 4 u go saying pooy things like shes a pauls homes lost child get it right shes a born and breed shore girl and she is is the rightperson for the job well ya know but god i cant beleive im talikg about some one i used to go to school with ........well got to get a life now bye

I would have to agree with hoping.in.anguish that she aint got the vocals for the locals come one .....I mean even the guitar player at church could pull some notes higher than her....but then again you havent herd her sing before{the guitar player that is}

Beck , Back whoever the chick is cant sing for the mula....the only reason she's in there is to break the money even{thats if she does get some dosh , they made!} If they made any. Its no secret, I dont. There are a few talanted good musicians here and there (none of which you probably know), but most NZ Music is shit.

Well take the rabble for example ( ), they get heaps of recognition everywhere (for reasons beyond my understanding), it doesnt mean they are talanted, they cant play their guitars and the vocals are really shit...

dude stop trying to shove your opinion down our throats. and if you look at some posts at this site you will see a list of nz musicians that i find talented. and i do agree that the worst nz bands seem to be the ones with all the media coverage and attention.but thats how music always is. the good ones are always underground.

Gayest band? in the sense of liking the same sex Karen Hunter rates highly, and in my view kinda rocks cause of it, in the sense of being really lame- I think it ain't likely to be the bands who are successful. Some of them are pretty lame but cmon compare 1000 to the fast crew and honestly tell me you prefer 1000. Trial by fire are another fine example of a band who must give up now and leave Judas Priests material in peace.

..............Nah am thinking twice bout some of that. My vote, Jonny and the robba, winners of round two launchpad 2004. Allegedly cheated then told member of another finalist band bout it, started a shitfight with Angel from Angelsound cause he wanted to discuss why his song won, arranged gig at Masonic with other round two launchpad bands then pulled out (possibly scared of a crowd?) when asked if other bands still wanted to play that night his answer was that he didn't know who the other bands were (which was total bullshit) reportedly punched some guy for wearing a USA hoodie at a party.
