Rage were awesome. Tire me and Wake up were unexpected tracks. I'm glad Wake up was included.

Can a RATM fan help me put this set list in the correct order as played last night at BDO? Last night is a little blurry but I think I've listed the right tracks in approximate order.

Testify
Bulls on parade
People of the sun
Calm like a bomb
Bombtrack
Vietnow
Tire me
Bullet in the head
Guerrilla radio
Sleep now in the fire
Know your enemy
Wake up
----------------------
Freedom
Killing in the name

Will there be a seperate tread for people to go on about how bad bjork was?

Bjork's only one of the most intesting and innovative musicians of our time.

I pity you fools.

Could just have a little bit to do with a girl ketting killed in the pit during Limp Bizkit. AND the barrier collapsing during System of a Down.

I like mosh-pits. But I don't like several thousand people pushing against me.

Go ahead and make one. You're welcome to make a new thread on here about anything you want.

So apart from Rage, Shihad and Bjork, what about the other acts? Any other highs/lows?

This just made me LOL:

Big Day Out could become last day out, says Maori Party

Did the Auckland BDO actually sell out? I thought there were still tickets on sale even the day before. Who was the retard who paid $620 for a ticket?

Arcade Fire put on the most original and energetic show out of any of the bands at Big Day Out. Climbing up the stage tent poles and hitting drum sticks together to make music, amazing if you ask me.

Bjork was Bjork, love her or hate her.

Rage, been under a rock for ten years, I can see why there was so much hype and why people thought they were so good, but to be totally honest, they are just another band.

meh, bjork, shes not my thing, but i ahve to admit i bloody loved those lightning dudes at the back. and i really do appreciate her effort, even tho i dont personally like her but meh
rage....brilliant
fucking mean
but that was expected, in fact, i actually was a lil disappointed, also expected, ive been waiting years to see them play, hyping myself up, putting them on a pedestal and it culd never have been as great as i had it in my head
but meh, so is life

i actually enjoyed the bleeders, got the bruises from the pit...bad move i reckon now.
and as for other bands, Dizzee Rascal in the boiler room was also alright, and definitely drew in the crowd, Arcade Fire in my opinion is innovative as hell and funny to watch.
Opshop put on a gud show, enjoyable
Shihad, rocked it, sucked up a bit too much to the crowd for my liking, but still...good kiwi band
I really enjoyed supergroove too, was looking forward to seeing them and they did a ok show

WHoot no dehydration this year Very Happy go me im a smarty pants

Bummer on vodafone going down...makes it bloody hard to find ppl

and a big F(*@()$Q@#$&*Q you to the lovely gentlemen sitting on the gate during shihad...asswipe

*Im okay* Laughing lol

Your crazy man, Bjork was soo so good. And the best thing was she remixed some of her own songs so that were even better live!

She was definately my favourite of the day!
Followed by Rage.
My other highlights were Tiki Tane, he did all types of music, it was sweet.
Dizzie Rascal was pretty good but it was so packed and hot in there.
Liam finn was pretty shit along with the checks, because the sound was arse for them.
Shihad and Pluto were both crap as well, shihad were particularly disappointing with the same old antics in their regular set, and their new material sounds like a pathetic pop band or something, ick!

Glad you enjoyed Bjork there Craig... would have loved to have heard what she's done with her older stuff. My brother rang me during "Hunter", one of my fav's.

Yeah, Shihad are running out of ideas and becoming wallpaper on the radio, unfortunately. They used to be really original sounding.

I'd probably get into Tiki if I chould get parshed da way he shays hish wordsh in that British em-schee shtyle of announshmentch.

Did anybody catch "Battles"???

Yeah that was awesome! And Joga was another one of my favourite at the show.

I was hoping to see battles, but on the day they swapped battles and the nightwatchman (which was pretty boring by the way) around, so that now battles were on at the same time as the arcade fire on the main stage.

I don't really like arcade fire but my mate is a huge fan, so I went with him to that, but I'm so glad I did because some of my other friends went to battles but by the time they got back from it- around the time shihad were on- they had closed the D, so they spent the rest of the evening outside the seemingly empty D.

I was glad I sacrificed battles for front centre position for Bjork.

And the arcade fire were a pleasant suprise. about ten on stage I think. Including a massive church style organ.

Hopefully his own band!

He lives here, a show once in a while would be nice. Though I'm sure his time in NZ is more for relaxing, not working.

Ah, I had the best day of my life.

BUT To the f*&&ers who booed at Bjork, you should be ashamed! She's an incredible musician, so get over yourselfs! It wasn't like Rage wasnt going to come on at all! JESUS!! Im a huge Rage fan, I waited all my F*&^ing life to see them play, but I still managed to hold my horses and listen to Bjork do her thing! She is AWESOME!!! I was so embarassed of all of you who were involved in that, show some freakin respect.

But Rage were truely great, and worth waiting so long to see. I was so proud to be in there getting all smashed up busting out in that pit, haha, there was so much passion, it was so so awesome.
To the person who thinks there "just another band" maybe you should pay some attention to their message, it's more relevant today than ever. And how can you say that about a band that involves Morello?????
