As long as rage don't take the limelight off of other bands it's all good. Tool kind of done that last year..

Please not Smashing Pumpkins. Stay in the 1990's, where your music was good and you had D'arcy.

Ahhhh excitement, totally gonna get up early tomorrow!

Listen to The Edge they are making the 1st annoucement AT 8AM

How many annoucement's usually follow and what are the time gaps?

Also? Will the new Big Day Out theme be released tomorrow on the website??

I am hoping for Pixies this year. *joke*

Happy

Yeah other than assessment wrecking my holidays, I guess the 8am announcement will get me up early to do some tomorrow instead of getting up at close to midday!

Perhaps Eight Foot Sativa? It's been a while for them.

God Jackhammer sounded terrible when I saw them there.

Or perhaps something more extreme that's doing well... Ulcerate perhaps. Subtract would be cool as they have a wider appeal I think.

TAINTED perhaps??? That'd rule.

haha id pay 120 or more to see rage lol. just rage.!! and there will be more to come Very Happy

well im happy so far...and of corz they prob wont give us all the gr8 bands in one announcement...meanies...like making us wait. id be happy if 8 foot come, yet sadly i doubt they will...wonder what else the token metal bands could beeee!! excitement!!!

apparently all tickets that get sold on auction sites become invalid...but i guess that only happenz if u put up a picture so they can see the code.
not that id sell tickets!!

there was limits last year i think as well.
good on them
hate it wen scalpers steal my bands
*cries*

im alright Very Happy rage rage rage!!!

No matter how hard Big Day Out try and stop these scalpers they will still be around..

Doesn't stop them getting mass amounts of tickets, just get 10 people to get them for you and HELLO 40 tickets.

BDO can't exactly ban ticket selling on Trade Me, last year Trade Me said it was a legit auction and they couldn't do anything about it.

I think some variety will be announced for sure, remember that the 1st announcement isn't always the best.
