Music News - Entries Open For Roundup 2012

The RDU Roundup Band Competition will return to Christchurch in 2012 after a one year hiatus.
Heats will take place at Dux Live on Saturday 26 May and Sunday 27 May, resulting in four category finals held over the first two weekends of June.
The Grand Final will take place on Saturday 16 June with one lucky Cantabrian act taking home a prize package including: studio recording time and mastering thanks to Cacophony Studios and Reality Chant Productions, a mentoring and promotional package from CHART, press shots from Dean Mackenzie Photography, $2000 worth of publicity thanks to The Press, management membership and mentoring from the Music Managers Forum (MMF), $1500 credit from NZ Rockshops and vinyl recording from In Real Life vinyl records.
Entry forms are available from Galaxy Records (336 St Asaph Street) or by request from mailto:rduroundup@gmail.com. Entries close Friday 18 May at 5pm.
