Music News - "Rise Up" Christchurch Relief Gig

The Mangere community are doing its bit to help with the Quake Relief efforts with a concert this Saturday 5th March. “RISE UP” CHRISTCHURCH RELIEF GIGFOR CHRISTCHURCH being held at the Mangere Arts Centre.

 

Visionary Productions & Young Soulz Productions have joined with the Mangere Arts Centre to put on a concert which includes the support of the following performers:

Unknown Peace
Valiant B.O.Y.S
Grace Ikenasio
Loose Change
Laybaq
The Gift
Rickey Okay
Taurizz
HumbleGROUNDS Dance Crew
Six8five dance crew
J-Rome

Fetu Ao Youth Group

 

All proceeds will go towards the Quake Relief Appeal. Organizers are also looking at holding a sausage sizzle and carwash and welcome any volunteers or further support for event.

 

When: Saturday 5 March 2011, Doors open 5.30pm, concert starts 6pm
Where: Mangere Arts Centre, 63 Orly Avenue, Mangere
Cost: Entry is a donation of $10 adults, $5 kids under 15
