And another one bites the dust. Auckland venues continue to fall by the wayside, with the latest casualty being The Schooner Tavern.

In this case, the villain is not noise control nor poor business - instead the lease is up and the building owner has chosen to demolish the entire structure. So the Schooner Tavern will continue to book and host shows right up until its closing date - being the night of July 20th.

Bookings are now to be done through Peter Fletcher on 021 484-044 (or by email on [email protected]) and all existing bookings up to July 20 will remain unchanged. For info on the gigs coming up - check out www.myspace.com/theschoonertavern
