Band & Musician News - The Black Seeds Announce Remix Competition

The Black Seeds Announce Remix Competition

13 August 2010 - 0 Comments

The Black Seeds have announced a remix competition where fans get to create their very own Black Seeds remix, with the winning entry featuring on their forthcoming Specials LP! The winning artist will also receive a percentage of profits from sales of their remix.

The Black Seeds Specials is a collection of remixes and versions from the band’s latest album Solid Ground, due for worldwide digital release in September. It features remixes from both local and international artists, as well as unreleased material from the Solid Ground sessions.

The Black Seeds remix competition entries close 5pm, Mon 30 August. For full information or to get mixing, visit http://www.theblackseeds.com/.

On the back of a successful North American/European tour in July, The Black Seeds have also just announced four South Island shows for this September. Read all about the tour here.
