Band & Musician News - Noisy Tāmaki Makaurau three piece Repairs announce the release of 'Mosaic' video

Noisy Tāmaki Makaurau three piece Repairs announce the release of 'Mosaic' video

27 March 2024 - 0 Comments

Noisy Tāmaki Makaurau three piece Repairs announce the release of a music video for their latest single Mosaic, an angry missive to watching the same cycles repeat themselves and the turning back of gains made.

Produced by the band in collaboration with artist collective without appeal, the music video sees multiple layers of footage re-processed until things start to fall apart. Found footage and band shots combine with digital errors and artefacts, before being projected and re-filmed. Layers and layers of distortion build and obfuscate, disintegrating clarity and meaning in an attempt to capture the underlying message of the song - watching as it all falls down, as each cycle repeats, things get distorted and lost.

Mosaic is the second single from Repairs’ upcoming second album Disappointing Sequel, out on April 17th.
