Bio

Born in Dannevirke, New Zealand on August 11, 1981. 5th Chyld moved to Auckland at a young age due to his parents early enquires into The Twelve Tribes of Israel.

My first encounter at close quarters with hip-hop music was a West Auckland group called The Lost Souls, a street collective doing basement recordings around 95' which consisted of four MC's (Truce, Maestro, Ninja & Thugsta) who were all active at the time from a elemental perspective. Being friends with my older brother I got the chance to simply bear witness to hip-hop culture.

At the time crews such as Dam Native, Joint Force, Token Village, Boogiemen, Upper Hutt Posse, Lost Tribe etc. were on the come-up and True School Hip-Hop was just sprouting courtesy of DLT, DJ Sirvere and Mark James (Slave).

Keeping it brief, after 10 years of grinding, through the combined efforts of an iron clad team... we now bring to you Schematik Entertainment (NZ/Brooklyn/Worldwide).
