Thirty Years Late is what happens when 4 guys from completely separate parts of the country meet in a performing arts school and decide that they have what it takes to get together and annoy the guy down the road.
It all started when Steven and Daniel played in a band with a girl known only as AVRIL MOORE. Even though they decided that it wasn't for them it was established that a common goal was in mind.
They enlisted the vocal stylings of Damian, a drama student who was not to be, as he was distracted from his pursuit of theater by the promise of a lot of noise and a couple of shiny objects. Jonelle was also brought on to complete the formula.
A demo was recorded and the band briefly slept due to Jonelle pursuing other things and Damian and Daniel's prior touring commitments with Excel school of performing arts.
Once the tour was over Rowan was shipped up to Auckland from the mighty Whangamata to fill the void that had been left by Jonelle's departure. A couple of practices later and Thirty Years Late was born. Starting off with Parachute Festival and a few random bars around Auckland, Thirty Years Late have headed out to make the world dance... or at least jump up and down, one show at a time.
