Brother Ray formed in late 05 in Torbay under the name of The Planeteers and established themselves as country blues and kind of ambient sounding band.

During 2006 they gigged and stuff and did pretty well for themselves but when lead guitarist Aiden Varan left them to study in Melbourne progress was halted.

Bring on 2007 and a new band name Brother Ray and a new lead guitarist Calvin and things are looking good. New material and more live shows this year have put them back on the map and they are continuing to improve their sound and create a fan base for themselves.
