N.D.V.J (Short for 'Individual') is one of modern R&B's rare gems; he has honed his skills grooving to the likes of Marvin Gaye, Soul II Soul, Jodeci, and Aretha Franklin from an early age. N.D.V.J personifies everything soulful and real about Rhythm & Blues. His flow and his delivery are so captivating and deep it makes you think there's more than one person singing on the track.

N.D.V.J - aka Jamie Leaf - started his career in the early 1990's first as an MC (On his debut album you can catch N.D.V.J's MC talents as well as his singing abilities) he later showed this to the nation on 833's 'WestSteez' album on the reggae-tinged track 'Hold Dem Roots' with Optymus Rime and again on the closing verse to 4th Elements' 'We All In' from their critically acclaimed debut album 'Raw Nu Inventions' in 2004.

Realizing his true calling was his ability to incite emotion into his listeners through his Gospel-ish tones and passionate songs, N.D.V.J returned to his singing.

His debut single 'Bone To Pick' is set to be THE Summer jam for 2005 with it's laid back beat courtesy of long-time collaborator Rahxx, coupled with N.D.V.J's bouncey flow - the end result is an R&B classic that can keep a club moving, a house party bubbling, a ride thumping and a beach BBQ sizzling.

Hard at work on his debut album titled 'Individual', N.D.V.J aims to bring an evenly split album - 50% Rap/Hiphop, and 50% R&B/Soul. This is something not to be taken lightly, N.D.V.J's naturally honed talents and sheer musical dedication on top of his overly-critical and perfectionist attitude toward his craft has enabled him to be a sure thing for 2006.
