Wondering spells out the beginning of the end, complementing experiences by both Sofia and Connor, through relationships, loss, and adventures. Oh Indigo explains; “It’s about acknowledging what was or has been and embracing those memories, whether they’re good or bad there is always a silver lining.” Wondering compresses these affairs and turns them into R&B flecked beats layered with airy vocals, melting listeners into moments of pure bliss.

Sofia and Connor bonded through their musical studies and various social connections that led to the development of Oh Indigo. Through their passions of collaboration, the two immediately began crafting an experimental project. The depths of Wondering began as a demo in December 2018 by Sofia experimenting with vocals and acoustic guitar. Through Connor’s production and various stages of joint development, Wondering came to life. With the duo both specialising in Music Practice and Music Industry, they have spread themselves wide throughout the industry performing under their individual projects.

Sofia Machray’s solo project under her name delves into the realm of indie-rock gone rouge, After topping alternative charts in 2020 with her debut single Handstands followed by an array of single releases Sofia Machray is fast at solidifying herself as a tactful, femme-led outfit in the forefront of New Zealand’s alternative scene. Connor performs under the likes of LOTU and has performed several shows in their capacity such as Louis Baker, Vodafone Music Artisan Awards, and The Performance Arcade. He also produces for various Wellington artists, through a variety of genres including pop, indie-electronic and psychedelic electronic. LOTU debuts his solo work in the summer of 2021, with a mix of house and heavy dance slappers.

Together, Oh Indigo is fast at making a name for themselves with a cocktail platter of mixed genres. Bringing their taste of interprofessional collaboration to the forefront of New Zealand's indie-pop electronic music scene Wondering is just the beginning of many releases to come.
