Nosittap

Bio

Nosittap, all in their 20's, was formed in June 2002 in Christchurch from founding members of Rimjaw. They then started writing and playing original material, the genre being alternative hard rock.

In November 2002, Nosittap completed their first demo (6 tracks) with Arnie Van Bussel @ Nightshift Studios. Recording on the first evening was over in 4 hours, and the mixing/mastering was done the following morning.

The demo has been reviewed by Danny Wright from New York record comany Hydrogen Records - with the results being very positive!

In December 2002, Paul Martin from the Rocks 'Axe Attack' started promoting Nosittap - giving them the 'demo of the week' spot.

Material from Nosittap's first demo has been used by Black Productions for their surfing/skating videos.

In May 2003, they featured in Wellington's magazine SocialFX 'Sure To Rise' section, and recorded their second demo CD in April 2003 at Nightshift Studios.
