Bio

tei. is an independent producer, songwriter & singer based in Central Tamaki Makaurau. tei.'s self-produced mixtapes OMW (2017) and The Alone One (2018) were met with critical acclaim, with local blogs such as The Spinoff & Sniffers backing her national and international reach.

"Introducing Tei, the Auckland artist behind the mixtape that’s blowing up on Soundcloud" - The Spinoff, 2017.

tei. has performed at some of Aotearoa’s most beloved festivals, including Newtown Festival (2017), The Others Way Festival (2018), and as a guest alongside management-mates Imugi at Rhythm & Vines (2019). tei. has also been a consistent fixture within the iconic Karangahape Road music scene throughout the years, having played her first gigs with The Grow Room at Whammy Bar in 2016.

tei.’s last single, Britney was released in 2019 and met with international support, garnering 660,000 views on YouTube without a music video. Since Britney, tei. has featured on other artists singles such as 11-80 by Ray Leslie (2022), Compulsion by Silas Futura (2021), Msn Ur Luv by Auto Angel and AP (from Church & AP) (2021), and Bill Remix by Amamelia (2021).
