Dusty Watt

Bio

Dr Allan Charles Watt, also known as Dusty Watt, is a New Zealand Musician who is based in Sydney, Australia. He wrote his first album back in 2015 and released it with Leon Sparks and Tina Cross. The album was a Tribute to WWI ANZACSs, which was released coinciding with the 97th anniversary of the end of WWI. Dusty who was a New Zealand soldier himself in the 1980's, was inspired by his grandfather, Phillip Charles McBarron, who was shot and wounded in the fields of the Somme in August 1918.

In 2016, Dusty released a collection of singles with his new producer. He released Godzone Country a tribute, or anthem to his Home country New Zealand. Chantelle a song about his youngest daughter. One his most successful songs The Dusty Trail has got the highest views on both YouTube and Spotify then any of his other songs.

On 2018 he released Cowboy Sail the Seas as a tribute to an Australian soldier who drowned at a beach trying to save their child.
