Abra Cadaver

Bio

Abra Cadaver has been formed from ex and current members of the profilic crew from Discenter, Resistant, WGI and The Valley Five.

They play a style of hard music that they describe as a "barrage of technical riffs randomly glued together". The band calls this "Mind Metal", with their diverse influences ranging from Nile and Cannibal Corpse, to Lagwagon and Bodyjay, all the way to Breach and Refused.

The 5-piece point out that there are several facets to audience participation at an Abra Cadaver gig: most of the time Abra Cadaver have made it impossible to bob your head in time or do the 'hardcore dance' (this is one of the main aims of the band). Rather, it is appropriate to put one leg on the stage and bob your head quickly, occasionally flinging an impressive mullet around. The band are also quick to point out that there are, however, some triumphant trucker rock riffs slotted in for those who need to have a bit of groove in their lives.

Mark is also a member of Sideproject.

Band Members:
Hamish M (vocals)
Mark D (guitar)
Tom R.S (guitar)
