Summer Thieves

Bio

Over the last 12 months, Summer Thieves have been working and recording under the mentorship and direction of multi-award winning and multi-platinum producer, Tiki Taane (Six60, Salmonella Dub, Shapeshifter). The experience that the band has gained in working with such an accomplished artist and producer has proven invaluable in helping to expand and hone their own sound.

They've played to crowds at the likes of Rhythm and Vines, Kaikoura Summer Sounds and La De Da and been demanded three straight years for the Otago University O'Week festival. In the last couple of years Summer Thieves have shared the stage with the nations best as well as some international heavyweights, supporting Sticky Fingers on their sold-out NZ tour - adding to a list that boasts the likes of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Six60, David Dallas, Katchafire, Kora and many more.

Band Members:
Jake Barton (lead vocals, guitar)
Jarni Blair (guitar, backing vocals)
Izzy Bones (keyboards, guitar)
Adam Spencer (bass)
Johnny Ward (drums)
