Galloping Hooves of the Apocalypse

Bio

Quick-step punk rock band from Auckland, New Zealand.

GHOTA released their debut self-titled album in July 2006, with distribution from Dunedin’s Rebel High Records. It was recorded by the band at Grey Lynn and Ponsonby, Auckland City in June 2005 before the singer went overseas for the remainder of the year. A limited vinyl pressing is expected late 2006.

Their second album is scheduled to be recorded in October 2006.

If you like your punk rock raw but tight, with a Motorhead sense of rock, then you’ll probably get where GHOTA are going.

A video was recorded for 'Garden Centre Slappers' by ex-guitarist Abe Raffills in 2005. It will be available on CD versions future pressings of the first GHOTA album.

The video can also be seen on the bands website or free on the internet here.

Band Members:
Mr Nigel Cellars (vocals, bass)
Mr Hugh Harlow (guitar, vocals)
Mr Kriss Dee (vocals, guitar)
Mr Dave Smith (drums)
