Intergracia - EP Review: Rise of The Incubus
Intergracia are a Kapiti/Wellington
band, and as some may remember, formally known as Magnum Opus. They deliver powerful
melodic metal that you’ll love from the start.
Rise of the Incubus is
their newly released EP, and hits all the right chords. Their energy and
passion are obvious and infectious with crisp, clear vocals and insanely catchy
hook riffs and solos that throw a hell of a punch.
Whether you’re
straight up Metal, a little bit of Rock, or only about that melody, you’ll get
it all with these guys. No bulls***,
just great music.
Tim Mekalick is lead vocalist
and guitarist these days, with a
profound sense of lyrical capability and a vocal style that catches your
attention and keeps it throughout. The band are clearly great musicians and
their technical ability is impressive.
Since their formation
in 2008, the band have gone from strength to strength over the years in their
local metal scene, and although they have had their share of line-up changes
since, the band continue to establish themselves as an important part in New
Zealand’s metal scene.
