New Single for Tunes of I

20 October 2017 - 0 Comments

After playing more than forty live shows around New Zealand over the past eighteen months to promote their debut album Restless, Wellington Dub Rockers - Tunes of I, are back with their brand new psychedelic inspired, soul searching single titled Kiss The Sky.

The track tells the tale of a vivid journey in pursuit of the moon, questioning who we are and the paths we are on. The narrative is recounted individually in the verses and as a whole in the chorus, expressed through the combined voices of the group. It is a story of persistence in the face of obscurity, preaching to always push on when exploring uncharted territories.

The release comes as the first official single off Tunes Of I’s forthcoming third project, titled Wicked Ways, set for release on Friday, 17 November. Once again - the venture was recorded at Wellington's Surgery Studios with the Doctor, Lee Prebble, mastered by Mike Gibson at Munki Studios and features five tracks true to the core fusion driven T.O.I sound.
