15 bands, along with live speakers and other volunteers, took over ZEAL in Hamilton on Saturday 27th April, for an all-ages event to raise both funds and awareness for the Mental Health Foundation NZ.
Over the course of the 10-hour day, many brave speakers shared their stories and their hearts with the crowd, speaking about not only their struggles with things like anxiety and depression, but also the importance of remembering to nurture your inner child and embracing that which makes us unique.
The event raised over $1,000 for the Mental Health Foundation.
Much love and thanks to Josh Pinho (Fire For Glory) and Lily Mou (REI, Downfall Productions) for their efforts in putting on such a monumental event.
