The New Zealand based Pacific Songwriting Competition seeks excellence in expression.

The competition is sponsored by an Opera Singer with a passion for original music and those who create it .The cash prizes total $25,000 and 2 i Pods are to be given away on the 500th and 1000th entry opened. The competition is open to all nations, genres and both amateur and professional songwriters. There are 13 categories in the Pacific Songwriting Competition which range from Rock to Classical , Café scene to Lyrics.

Closes March 2005.
