Dark acoustic/neofolk - Wellington City

I'm a guitarist and song-writer (23) in Wellington City looking to explore some new musical ground. I'm planning to play a kind of dark acoustic/neofolk with a regular pulse, so I'm looking for a singer/guitarist (male or female) and a percussionist (ie. cajon/tambourine) - though finding a singer/guitarist is obviously the first priority. Ideally in the same location.

I've got a few ideas floating around and some stuff recorded but what I'm trying to create is a mix of: Death in June, Chelsea Wolfe, :Of the Wand & the Moon: as well as some more conventional artists like Noah Gundersen, Neil Young, Battleme etc.

I'd like to record and play shows in the future, so I don't plan on this being a "hobby" band with no direction. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in then contact demonium24[at]hotmail[dot]com
