Hi guys,

I've recently moved to Welly and I'm keen to get back into the gigging scene after a 4 year break since my last band... or even just to have a relaxed jam really

I've been playing the guitar for about 18 years now (though not as much as I'd like to lately), and writing songs for almost as long.

I definitely like more of a riff-based rock/metal/industrial style with influences like: Deftones, Godsmack, Tool, Killswitch Engage, Ill Nino, NIN, Shihad, Korn, Incubus, Offspring...to name only a few.

I'm also a qualified audio engineer, and have a pretty basic home studio setup at the moment, but it's nothing too flash

If you're interested in having a jam or maybe putting together a band, let me know.

Ok im interested. Into heavy rock and metal. Can play a selection of covers and working on some originals. I have a decent setup, keen for a jam sometime.

hi my name is trent im 21 years old i live rite in the city of wellington i am a self taught guitarist and have been playing for 18 months so i still have plenty to learn im really keen to get together with some people and have a jam im also quite interested in a band as my friends are always telling me i need to be in a band im into all music that has a good sound except reggae i guess not a big fan of it my inspirations would be stevie ray vaughn janic and adrian smith from iron maiden dave mustaine steve vai and deffinitly have to say jimmi hendrix if ur interested in jamming some time feel free to email me on [email protected] cheers

I'm still looking... anyone keen?

I'm more interested in people with a bit of experience, and preferably gigged before would be a bonus.

Also not looking to do anything thrash-like or really hard out metal... prefer the something with a good rock beat, kinda Deftones-ee with some grunty guitar riffs.

I seem to have a thing for Eastern sounding riffs too, so Godsmack and System have heavily influenced my style, and it would be cool to do something sounding a little different, yet heavy.
