Band Practice space available
Posted: Sun Jul 13, 2008 7:56 pm
Hi there,

Do you find it hard to find somewhere to practice with your band?

Is there a need for more dedicated practice space in Wellington?
What suburbs would be most convenient?
What is a good size for a band practice room? 4m by 5m?

Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
Deb

Yeah we may need a new pract pad as the one we are using is gettin moldy n damp.Something central and cheap is what we are after and to fit 5 players in at one time and a few on-lookers maybe. Will need to be sucure so we can leave gear there set-up.And if is used by other pple then hope they respect your aer and leave it the way they found it.

Storage units in a non-residential area are my choice of practice pad.

They can be hard to find though, some places are sick of bands leaving the rooms in a mess.

If that's too pricey (my old band payed about $180 a month, split 4 ways), then looking for a larger unit and sharing with another (reliable) band.
