Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Tue Sep 2, 2003 8:55 pm I've heard a rumour that Linkin Park are joining Metallica at the BIG DAY OUT 2004. Can anyone add to that? It would be great if they did come. |

RE: Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Wed Sep 3, 2003 7:51 am Linkin Park are going to be in Australia in October for three dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane - but no word on them coming to NZ yet. There's also no indication that they will be performing at the Australian BDOs. |

RE: Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Fri Sep 5, 2003 9:29 pm Tickets for the last Big Day Out cost around $97. I'm not sure that there are any age restrictions, but don't quote me on that. |

RE: Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Sat Sep 6, 2003 12:23 am last year I believe it was R15 or something stupid like that. It said on their website that an older brother or sister could be their guardian but they may have had to have been over 18 or over 20 and had to be with you all day. I wonder if they'd have to follow you in to the toilet? What if your guardian was of the opposite sex? |

RE: Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Sun Sep 7, 2003 10:45 am Some bands have already announced that they will be performing at the BDO next year, including Metallica, via their websites. The official list of bands performing comes out December 2003 - as many bands between now and then decide to come, and others decide not to after saying they will. Bands start to be announced in October - but that list will change .. as it always does. The bands will be announced via the official BDO website - http://www.bigdayout.com/ |

RE: Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Sun Sep 7, 2003 9:23 pm Sascha of Industrial act KMFDM has finally said the band WILL BE coming downunder in 2004 with WWIII, in reality that probably means a few Big day out gigs as the guys often complain about takes at overseas venues, etc. Cheers. Keep an eye out at my place for more news. |

RE: Big Day Out 2004 Posted: Mon Sep 8, 2003 9:47 pm KMFDM also featured on the 'Bad Boys' soundtrack in 1995 - which goes to show they have been around for a bit. The song on the 'Bad Boys' soundtrack was 'Juke-Joint Jezebel'. |
