clownie, I can see where your coming from. But young love can be a beautiful thing. It can also be a heartbreaking thing.

Being a teenager is a time when you are finding your identity. Love is no different and throughout your teenager years finding what you like and dislike in relationships is part of that.

So as one teenager may feel they are in love and are going to be with this person forever, these can change as they develop into the person they want to be, or are going to be.

I wouldn't say it is lame though however, because going through life without putting yourself in a situation where you are exposed to being rejected is probably even lamer.
