Searching for 1970s' Kiwi Band
Posted: Sun Mar 26, 2006 6:40 pm
Just wondering if there is anyone out there who may be able to help me get my hands on a copy of a very old and rare song. The name of the band was "THE RADARS". They were a Kiwi Band who came out in the 1970s. This band was distinctively different because All or most of the band members were 'Blind'. A band made up with members of NZ Blind Association.

The particular song I am after is a remake; originally put out by Frankie Laine and then covered by The Radars. The name of this song is, "THAT LUCKY OLD SUN". It was printed on a 45 record as a single with "TAHITI NUI" on the flipside.

Please, if anyone knows where I can obtain a copy of this, preferably on C.D, then I will be the happiest man on earth. If not on C.D then even on record or tape.

Thank you very much for your time.
