Me and some other guys are thinking about starting a Rock/Metal Radio station throughout the country. Just a quick post to see how many people would tune in to such a station

Since the departure or channel Z, I dont think i've listened to the radio for more then 15 minutes at a time.
On the rock I dont like the old school 80's/90's songs.
The Edge is way too commercial
And well....I wouldnt even contemplate listening to mai or flava or george...not my taste in music at all.
I would definatly tune into your station....although i think too much metal/hardcore could be aggitating....maybe try and diverse with a bit of punk (did i just say that?) or something.

...These are my thoughts. Very Happy

Yea that sounds awesome. I know heaps of people that would listen to a station that plays good rock/metal and hardcore punk too.

Me too ay, I'm listening to the same cd's over and over

Quick reality check - how are you going to pull this off?

Well we will probably start in Northland and work our way down. NZ on Air has agreed to provide some funding, (no idea how much). It will be a slow process, but it will happen.
