DateMonthYear; is not a band. DateMonthYear is a way of making music n the 21st century. DateMonthYear began to function with the release of sampler in 2003 and has progressed through four CDs, multiple Television and movie placements, gig with the Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra, and live theatre. Central committee of Influence consists of key contributors Shaye Simpson (vocals), Grant Blackler (guitar/vocals) and Trevor Faville(percussion/vocals/keyboards/bass/guitar)
Riverdragon;The new single. This is a re -recorded version of a song that has been a live favourite and was originally recorded by students at Fairfield College. The song deals with the themes of nostalgia and identity and stylistically moves towards alt-country or even country rock kind of territory.
