Bio

Forming through a desire to make music and perform live, the sound of Broken Silence is energetic and ground breaking, just like their stage presence. At the foundation of the band Callum Goldie puts sticks to skin and cymbal as the bands drummer. The driving bass lines come courtesy of Rusty Hattle, as do backing vocals.

The band listens to New Zealand music like Blindspott, 8 Foot Sativa and Cold By Winter as well as international acts such as Sum 41, Metallica, Blink 182 and Snoop Doggy Dogg to name a few.

Filling in the solid sound, Chris Lam plays the rhythm guitar while pulling you into the music with fast pace lyrics and onstage antics. With the bass under him Sam Miller entertains the crowd with unique solos on lead guitar and provides backing vocals. Hailing from the town of Pukekohe, these boys are ready to blind the world if given the chance to shine.
