Bay of Plenty reggae band Mirage music blends a cool mix of reggae, electronic and rock - creating their unique sound. Mirage comprises Ben Horlock (Ngati Porou) aged 20, Jahvyn Douglas (Ngai Te Rangi) aged 18, and Benji Seiuli (Samoa / Aotearoa) aged 19. The band are one of the youngest reggae groups emerging in Aotearoa.

The group only formed around 9 months ago, but are already making waves with and recently opened for Corrella at the Kingslander.

Although they have not officially released any tracks yet, the three piece reggae group have already built a strong online following, with more than 6500 followers on Instagram & a growing fanbase on Facebook. The group have been releasing photos, covers and shorts on Instagram + reels for 9 months & the covers have been liked and shared online by the likes of Nesian Mystik, Kora and Coterie.

Mirage has been doing the mahi in their home studio near Tauranga the past few months and will release their debut track He whakakitenga mou ('It’s a Revelation for Ya') in October 2023.
