Just One Fix are an Auckland based four piece metal band, who were formed in late 1999.
Since then they have been fortunate enough to play with international titans Megadeth, Hellyeah, Korn, Chimaira, Biohazard, along with local heavyweights.
With the line up of Riccardo Ball (vocals), Sharne Scarborough (guitars), Gaylene 'G Force' Ward (drums), and Ant 'Stuntcock' Ward (bass), Just One Fix released their first album, 'The Price of Sellvation' in 2007, produced by Paul Matthews (Blindspott, Tadpole).
After Stuntcock's super sperm knocked up an unsuspecting G Force, Martin Kemble (who played for the Fix during their album release tour) and Lee Steele were recruited for drum and bass guitar duties as Ant and G focused on their family life.
This new line up have been the first NZ metal band to play Vector Arena, have performed at 2008's Mammoth Metal Fest, 2009's Big Day Out, numerous HMHR Metal Fests and in late 2009 went into the studio to record their second album, 'Blood Horizon'.
The different influences of the individual members of Just One Fix have led to the band developing a tighter, harder and more aggressive sound on the album. This was honed by the production skills and advice of Zorran Mendonsa (Saving Grace, In Dread Response, Subtract, and Cobra Khan) with the final coat of metal applied by studio mastering genius Evan Short (Shapeshifter, Concord Dawn).
'Blood Horizon' was released in March 2010 with rave reviews and excessive demand across the country, with the first video and single from the album, 'When the Knife Comes Down' being nominated Best Metal Video for the Juice Awards '10 - a first ever metal catergory in NZ Music history.

JUST ONE FIX RELEASE NEW ALBUM BLOOD HORIZON
Auckland based metal band Just One Fix are proud to announce the release of their new album Blood Horizon on Monday 8th March. The album features the first single When The Knife Comes Down.
Just One Fix are stalwarts of the New Zealand metal scene, with the band first raising its collectively ugly head in 1999.
Their acclaimed debut album The Price of $ellvation, plus nationwide tours and support slots for Megadeth and Hellyeah, cemented the band in the frontline of the local scene and saw Just One Fix prove their worth alongside International heavyweights.
Alongside founding member and guitarist Sharne Scarborough and vocalist Riccardo Ball were joined by
drummer Martin Kemble and bass player Lee Roy Steele. In 2008 the raw enthusiasm, fresh perspectives and hunger to achieve brought in by the new rhythm section inspired an intense creative period that culminated in the songs that became Just One Fix’s new album Blood Horizon.
The different influences of the individual members of Just One Fix have led to the band developing a tighter, harder and more aggressive sound on the album. This was honed by the production skills and advice of Zorran Mendonsa (Saving Grace, In Dread Response, Subtract, and Cobra Kahn) with the final coat metal applied by studio mastering genius Evan Short (Shapeshifter). All of those factors, coupled with a desire to get the songs into the ears of as many people as possible, has also seen the band play 2009's Big Day Out and share the Vector Arena stage with Korn, Biohazard and Chimaira.

ALBUM UPDATE: IN THE STUDIO
Tracking is well underway for our new album!
Zorran Mendonsa (Producer) is an absolute legend behind the desk - both with sound and suggestions, as we are stoked on what will be coming out of the studio.
"I think the songs on this album are a definite step up from what we've done before for both intensity and complexity - there's more going on - the songs have more layers to them - hopefully people will hear different things each time they listen to the album." - Riccardo Ball
A short trailer for the album of "in the studio" footage is being made and will be put up in a few weeks.
