Dogs On Prozac

Bio

Dogs on Prozac are an underground alternative rock 3-piece band hailing from Rotorua. They are often compared to Devo, Beck, Talking Heads, Mr Bungle and Primus.

Dogs on Prozac are well-known for their electrifying stage presence and highly entertaining performances and have been captivating audiences around New Zealand since 1996.

In Jan 2003 bass player Baz Turner and his girlfriend Yuki Suwwanaphan were tragedically killed in a car accident. Wayne has since reformed the band with founding drummer Olly Eason and fill in bass player Trent 'TNT' Towers for a few select gigs and a recording session that will result in the first Dogs On Prozac album.

Dogs On Prozac have:

- Won the Waikato UFM Battle Of The Bands (September 2000)
- Opened for The D4 at the '6Twenty' album release party @ The St James Theatre, Auckland (October 2001)
- Been placed #1 on m2 music video hits - Viewers Choice music chart (July 14 2002)
- Played to audiences of 4,500+ during the Rotorua Lakeside Concerts (1998, 2002 and 2003)
