Built to Burn (B2B) are a four piece Punk/Rock band based in Auckland.

The band formed in 2005 and started performing shows around Auckland in 2006.

Built to Burn recorded their first demo 'Go On' in 2005 at Sound Art Studios. B2B recorded their next demo 'Simple' in 2006. 'Simple' was used on the C4 TV show Studentville. The band have recorded videos for 'Realise/Compromise' and 'Come Together' with Alt TV, these where aired in 2008.

Built to Burn have completed their first CD 'The Beginning of the End'. Tracks include: 'Changed Your Mind', 'Details', 'Realise/Compromise', 'The Chase', and 'Underground'. The band have just completed recording new material. This includes the following songs: 'She Said It's Over', 'Won't Give Up On You', 'Take it away', 'Mistakes (Lost Without You)', 'What Did You Expect?' and 'Moving On'. Some of these songs are available on the bands myspace page www.myspace.com/built2burn

Influences include The Offspring, Lit, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Thursday, Good Charlotte, New Found Glory, Thrice, the Bleeders, Elemeno P, Taking Back Sunday, Green Day, and Blink 182.

Built to Burn have performed at the Kings Arms, Masonic Tavern, The Flying Moa, Dogs Bollix, Hysteria, The Immigrant, Galatos, as well as many house parties.

Built to Burn are currently unsigned.
