Formed in 2003, Loud Like Enemies has evolved from bands Fallout, My Two Cents and Can't Reach. Playing their first show in Wellington in mid 2003, the Hamilton based band has played frequent shows in and around the city.

Describing themselves as hardcore/emo/punk, the band favour non-standard tunings and unconventional song structures, name-dropping such influences as I Killed The Prom Queen, Rise Against, AFI, Refused, At The Drive In, Poison The Well, Alexisonfire, This Night Creeps, Blood Brothers and Fugazi.

Loud Like Enemies disbanded in 2004, with Samsam now performing with The Batstorm Murders.
