A Doubtful Sound

Bio

Ollie & Hamish hail from NZ’s shakiest city, Christchurch. After the opportunity to link up with likeminded Bristol based musician Jake arose, the boys jumped on the first flight to the UK in 2012. With a shared love of hard hitting Rock’n’Roll, they disappeared to produce some demos.

While Hamish and Ollie had been producing big rock tunes in New Zealand together for years, Jake had also been making his own tracks in the Bristol music scene.

Releasing tracks online, they've quickly amassed a solid following with many drawing favourable comparisons to the Foo Fighters & Queens of the Stone Age. Receiving glowing online reviews, their latest track Dance Floor Killer is now hitting NZ radio.

“Edgy, raw, & hugely impressive” The Unsigned Guide UK.

“Full of scuzzy guitars and thumping percussion the songs rattle along at a frenetic pace & ticks all the boxes” Music Reviews Unsigned.
