Stretch to Mould formed in February 2012 when Darrell Vickers got in contact with Jackson Kyle, Blain Fitzpatrick and Marcus Brown and asked if they would be interested in forming the band. All three of them were interested and the line up was confirmed. The band started rehearsing immediately, with a set full of alternative rock originals and within three weeks of forming the band played their first shows opening for Rusty Designz in Raumati Beach and Rockin’ the Hutt, an annual festival in Lower Hutt. Stretch to Mould is currently working on their debut album "Shadows" due to be release in October this year (2012).
