Bio

Wires and Wood is a four piece bluegrass band, formed in 2003 when Micheal Young, Dave Warren, Bryan Christianson and Alec Healy started jamming together at a small folk music festival.

Since then the band has played at folk music clubs, country music clubs and most of the major folk festivals in New Zealand, bringing their flavour of bluegrass music to very appreciative audiences. Their music is drawn from a mixture of bluegrass standards, modern country and original material (in the bluegrass style)
