Henderwood

Bio

Henderwood is one of Wellington's collaborations, essentially an indie-pop outfit, with some classical influence.

Gillian Henderwood is the songwriter. Her repertoire is rich in intimacy and lyrical interest. She approaches her songs from a number of angles musically, with a wonderful range of instrumentation.

Gillian's immediate accompaniment is her guitar and piano; with Mark Henderwood providing counterpoint on mainly electric guitar, but also violin, viola and mandolin.
Andrew Bain is the bass-man. He has a warm melodic style. Doug Voon is our creative drummer and percussionist.

Band Members:
Gillian Henderwood (vocals)
Mark Henderwood (guitar, violin, viola, mandolin)
Andrew Bain (bass)
Doug Voon (drums)
