Module is the 100 % Live Electronic Musical Project of Jeramiah Ross, A Musician based in Wellington New Zealand.
Jeramiah has been touring as Module 4 years and performing at most major summer festivals and clubs in New Zealand/Australia.
Classically Trained on the Piano from the age of 4 years old, Jeramiah creates all types of music. and does not limit himself to one style but just about explores them all!
Heavily influenced by 1970's/1980's Synthesizer music, ARP2600's and CS80's. Mini-moogs,drum machines & most things electronic while navigating though a multi colored sea of frequencies, but happy to sit in the dark with a glass of wine and create beautiful classical music, Jeramiah is a ninja on the computer, Master of the cut and paste technique ,And a black belt of MIDI CC data, Fast finger movement with the secret ability to rock at a moments notice or take you somewhere beautiful before you know it !.
Live, he performs only his own music and "does not DJ", using Ableton Live, Novation SL/NIO/Korg MS2000b + extra toys, he creates a fun and over the top synth based show with MIDI synced up visuals, scorching lead guitars on synths and electro all around funtimes! while vibrating the hell out of everything with super sonic frequencies and stimulating your neurotransmitters with the light spectrum
He also performs classical Piano/Ambient shows
He Produced the music for the 'Have a love affair in Wellington' Television commercial which saw his music being played across all NZ channels on hi-rotate for 3 years featuring the track 'What It Seems' from his critically acclaimed 2006 Double CD release 'Remarkable Engines' Through LOOP recordings.
Jeramiah/Module also produced music for Wellington video game company SIDHE Inter-active with their PlayStation 3 game 'Gripshift'.
Over the last 2 years of constant touring around NZ he has developed a live album and a project called called 'Pattern Dot Life' which will be released through iTunes worldwide September 2008. Featuring 12 new tracks all performed and recorded live with 6 cameras filming the video from his last show at Sandwhiches in August 2008. Module is making the whole project open source with download-able Remix Packs!
He has also worked with lots of NZ Bands and been part of Fly My Pretties, The Black Seeds, Rhian Sheehan, Pitch Black and The Blush Response.
At the moment he is also producing NZ Electro band Charlie ASH, Working on a 10 track playstation 3 game called 'Shatter' for SIDHE Inter-active, & planning tours overseas. along with working on his next proper Module Release, 'Beneath A Calm Surface & Imagineering'.
Jeramiah/Module has left LOOP Recordings to be a Independent artist and has just recently signed to Mushroom Publishing & sorted out a Worldwide Digital Distribution through Rhythm Method
