Ben King's musical career has spent the last few years going from strength to strength.

It's more fitting to say that this collection of songs has evolved rather than simply been written and recorded. After two years of writing, recording and mixing, Ben King's first solo album has now been completed and has emerged soon as an example of a stunning piece of work by yet another one of New Zealand's wonderfully talented artists.

As well as writing and performing his own music more recently, Ben has worked with Dave Dobbyn, Bic Runga and Goldenhorse.

His album was recoreded in York Street Studios and co-produced with Nick Abbott, whose credits include songs on The Datsuns' record.

The album features the single 'No Ordinary Day' and a cover of the Split Enz classic 'One Step Ahead'.
