LA Thompson - Single Review: Reach Out

24 Jul 2018 // A review by Corinne Rutherford

LA Thompson (Shirley Howe), the founder of Local Musicians Music (LMM), has released another beautiful single titled Reach Out, from her album New Sun Rising. This is a song about love and light and it was written for the people she loves. Originally written for her partner whom she continues to have a close friendship with.

LA Thompson conveys emotion well through her music, and this track is no exception. It is obviously inspired by love. Warm tender vocals complimented by slightly rocking instrumentals. This is soulful song writing.

Professional and polished, delivered with clarity and expression, Reach Out is yet another quality song. Well written and thoughtful with a warmth and tenderness that highlights LA Thompson's caring nature. The positive energy and kindness she was hoping to achieve has been well captured on this track.

Shirley is extremely dedicated to supporting and promoting indie NZ Artists. She is passionate about what she does and the love she has for music and the people she supports shines through in her songs. Reach Out is no exception to this.
