Music News - Rod Stewart 2nd concert announced

Rod Stewart 2nd concert announced

19 February 2020 - 0 Comments

Tickets for the Mission Concert’s favourite artist, Sir Rod Stewart, have sold out in record time this morning, prompting the promoter to add a second concert on Sunday, 15 November.

Tickets to the second concert are now on sale at
www.missionconcert.co.nz and Ticketmaster. Fans are urged to act quickly as this second performance WILL sell out too.

The performances are part of his The Hits! world tour -- a 50-year celebration of his stellar career, a career highlighted by extraordinary performances at The Mission in 2005 and 2012.

Mission Concert promoter James Erskine, Chairman of Sports and Entertainment Limited, says he expected the appetite for tickets to be voracious and he wasn’t disappointed today.

“New Zealand loves Rod. The Mission loves Rod. We are not surprised how fast these tickets sold today and expect the second performance will move just as quickly.”

The Mission Concert will be Rod’s only North Island performance.

Tickets available at www.missionconcert.co.nz & Ticketmaster.co.nz
