New Song for Bronwyn

29 November 2019 - 0 Comments

Up and coming NZ Contemporary Country Artist, Bronwyn, releases anthem Wish Me Luck as her latest single. This is the first song that she has confirmed to be on her debut album which is expected to be released in 2020. Wish Me Luck is a fun and sassy upbeat track with the perfect blend of country, pop and rock. Singing about taking chances, the captivating melody and lyrics showcase Bronwyn’s strong ability as a songwriter. After the success of her EP's All In and Better Late Than Never Bronwyn is returning to have the rest of her upcoming album co-produced once again by multi- award winning musician Phil Doublet with Arnie van Bussel. Having experienced and performed in Nashville for the first time earlier this year she’s looking forward to attending the Tamworth Country Music Festival for the first time this coming January.

"Country Queen - She’s the young Kiwi singer who dreams of taking her music to Nashville, and after listening to country crooner Bronwyn, you get the feeling it may not be just a pipe dream." - Mountain Scene, NZ

Bronwyn is a contemporary country singer/songwriter from Dunedin. She grew up living and breathing music, playing any instrument she could get her hands on before she fell in love with singing and never looked back. After graduating from the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand she's self-released two original EP's with the latest one All In reaching #9 on the NZ Charts. Her debut single Quarter Life Crisis has also been stirring up a bit of interest from all over the world. She describes her EP as “half sass and half heart” and prides herself on them all being self-penned. Other key tracks and fan favourites to hear are Forever Never Yours’(the sass) and Just A Little Chipped (the heart).

She draws inspiration from 'life' as well as from many fellow artists ranging from Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini to Kalie Shorr and Tenille Arts. "Their honesty and storytelling hits you so hard, you can't help but be inspired by them and their music."

Having played all around her home country on her solo Wish Me Luck tour her performances are going from strength to strength. If you happen to catch her live you would never guess that the artist, who is effortlessly entertaining, never used to be able to sing outside her bedroom!
