Music News - Manzo releases the single 'Twist'

Releasing on 19 July, Twist is Manzo’s most emotive recording to date.
Featuring an impassioned vocal performance by Harrison Nicol with deeply expressive violin by Richard Taylor, the song was written directly from personal experience by songwriter and producer Alan Hodgetts. It explores and tries to make sense of seemingly insignificant events in life that brought two people together.
Alan remarked recently “seeing one of our crew welling up, then openly weeping every time we played the master, got me going too. There we were, looking at each other, wiping away the years, infused, and loving every second of it”.
Released ahead of Manzo’s 11 track album Attachment and 4 track companion EP Beatniks on Toast on 26 July, this song truly is at the very heart and soul of the year-long recording project.
