Hozier is thrilled to announce Hollie Smith will support him at his highly-anticipated only New Zealand show this month, on April 28 at Spark Arena. This will be Hozier’s first show in New Zealand since performing a sell out show at Spark Arena in 2015 and the first-time fans will get to hear material from his new album, Wasteland, Baby!

Hollie Smith is a prolific hardworking singer, songwriter, and performer who has always maintained a highly respected reputation of creating music with the utmost integrity and passion. Her incredible live performances and powerhouse vocals have made her one of the most sought-after acts in the New Zealand music industry. After the success of her performance on Don McGlashan’s song Bathe in The River which showcased Hollie’s soulful talent, she has spent over a decade cementing herself as one of New Zealand’s most iconic and top artists. And 2019 is no exception with Hollie releasing the moving single Whakaaria Mai with Teeks in March.

Born Andrew Hozier-Byrne, Hozier is an award-winning musician, singer and songwriter from Ireland. His number one, debut studio album Hozier was released in October 2014 and includes the multi-Platinum, Grammy-nominated anthem Take Me To Church. Acclaim for Hozier’s recent shows and newly-released music has been widespread.

Hozier’s EP Nina Cried Power has already been streamed over 8 million times on Spotify. Consisting of four brand new tracks written and performed by Hozier, the EP’s lead single features legendary soul/gospel singer Mavis Staples, with iconic musician Booker T Jones on organ. To follow this effort, Hozier released in March his sophomore album, Wasteland, Baby! which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200.

Hozier returns to New Zealand for one Auckland show in April 2019 – and it’s one you don’t want to miss.
