Lee Mvtthews release video for 'Let Me Go'

09 April 2019 - 0 Comments

Kiwi dance duo Lee Mvtthews have just released a video for their latest banger, Let Me Go. Watch the video premiere with Radio New Zealand HERE

Let Me Go feat Embher is an energetic and euphoric anthem, cleverly laced with melancholic undertones.

The song has been a summer hit for Lee Mvtthews, blasted on high rotation at NZ tastemaker station George FM and ripping up festivals across the country.

Just like a whirlwind romance, Let Me Go is intriguing and addictive - a self-destructive love that tries to hold on, even when the spark just won’t catch to flame.

Belting out vocal lines to rival the likes of Ella Eyre, Auckland-based singer Embher lends her voice to the catchy bass-line and breaks brought by the Lee Mvtthews boys (AKA Graham Matthews and Tom Lee).

The Southern hemisphere, dancefloor drum and bass-style track is backed up by a powerful techy bass, and roaring synth lines in the drop.

Made by Off The Beaten Track Collective and set in picturesque Northland, the video captures the magic of Lee Mvtthews iconic 2018/2019 summer. It simply follows the duo and their friends on a weekend away and is guaranteed to leave fans amped for the next move from one of the most exciting dance acts in New Zealand.

Lee Mvtthews formed in late 2013 and have gone from strength-to-strength, gaining a reputation for turning out infectious tunes and smashing the NZ festival circuit.

Their debut EP, Silhouettes, was released in 2017 and featured the single Nothing To Lose, featuring Jay Bulletproof and Marino Mariner, which won them ‘Best Track of 2018’ at the George FM Awards.

The duo released four singles in 2018, including Stay feat. Omega Levine; Inside Out feat Watson, Fool and Let Me Go.

They’ve also smashed up the charts with their remixes of Kings6 Figures and Perth drum and bass Flowidus’ track Horizons.

Lee Mvtthews won ‘Best Breakthrough Artist of 2018’ at the George FM Awards, serving as a reminder as to why the duo is considered one of the hottest live dance acts on the scene right now.
