Auckland bands Stars and the Underground and Lichtbeuger are teaming up with Sydney’s Sounds Like Winter and ZCluster, Robots in Love from Dunedin and Caustic Grip from Melbourne over three dates in June which will mark leg one of their tour.

I first met Ant Banister and Andi Lennon from Sounds Like Winter when they toured in New Zealand in 2015 and 2017 and I played support. SLW has continually supported Stars and The Underground and many other New Zealand acts and we want people in New Zealand to come out and witness one of the great Aussie Post Punk bands when they announce their next tour, in the meantime SLW will host us in Sydney.

In fact this will be Sounds Like Winter’s third album after some European Dates and third tour to New Zealand “SLW must be honorary Kiwis by now” says John from Stars and The Underground. NZ Music Industry Promoters and Labels please check them out.

The idea behind this tour is get our music out there and to show what is possible when bands from the Post Punk, Industrial and Dark Electronic field get together, this is great music by great artists that have shared the stage collectively with bands like Bauhaus, Drab Majesty and Mortiis.
